“Waiting for First Run” SilverStar Mountain

If you are a skier or a snowboarder, you know the joy of ' first run’. This is the first ski down the mountain at the start of the day. It feels great to be the one making the first tracks down the mountain. I love it! There is a special light first thing in the morning that is captured in this painting.

This run is called “Whiskey Jack” after the Canada Jay which is common on SilverStar Mountain.

Have you ever been to SilverStar Mountain in British Columbia? It is beautiful beyond words.
