Fields of Gold” is an original landscape painting that captures the beauty of a field of canola. I love the bright yellows and greens contrasted with the darker background mountain. It is a sunny piece that will brighten up any room and is a pleasure to look at. A white barn nestled among the trees at the base of Mount Ida lets you know this is Salmon Arm.

This painting was part of the juried “Pollinators” display at the Salmon Arm Arts Centre. It is one of my favourites.

It is framed with a deep black frame that sets off the colours.

This work was inspired by a park we visited in Paris. I loved the play of light and the reflections in the water. It had recently rained creating large puddles around the trees. The reflections were fun to do as they sometimes just happen with a few strokes of the brush.

I think this painting captures the light in a way that makes you want to keep looking. It leads you throughout the painting.

This painting would be a nice addition to any room from kitchen, living room, to bedroom. The colours are cheerful and bright.

“Shuswap Symphony”

This is the view I wake up to each morning. I never tire of this view and the play of sunlight on the lake and distance mountains. This six foot painting would bring this view into your home. I like the patterns of light and the dark blues that make it peaceful to look at. I have it hanging in our bedroom. It is restful,yet interesting. This painting was inspired after our trip to the Yukon. Muncho Lake is one of the many beautiful lakes in Northern British Columbia. I loved painting this picture. It is acrylic on three separate wood panels that line up together to form the Muncho Lake Tryptic. It is sold as one painting.
